This is a beautiful story bursting with love, it reads as if the dog, Plummie, is asking it’s owners whether they will love her despite her many misgivings. Can Plummie be forgiven for being terrible at listening and eating ice cream that is not for her? Or jumping into a pond even after being told, No? I think we are all a sucker for those puppy dog eyes and a playful sense of fun.
