I had not heard of a Quokka before reading this book and even now it feels like a tongue twister which I struggle to say! Adorable animal, which instantly cheers you because it is indeed smiling at you in real life and in the story. There is a reason it is known as the “happiest animal in the world”. This beautiful book is sunshine in a story….enjoy. Top marks for illustrations too – Natasha Lea.
