Monty the mouse and his friends leave the countryside in a little girls’ bicycle basket and head for town where there’s plenty of good things to eat. On the way the intrepid harvest mouse falls out of the basket and gets involved in a series of adventures.
Young children will relate to Monty’s predicament and be encouraged by his will to succeed.
